MUNOZ FAMILY HEALTH CLINIC, ABILIO MUNOZ, M.D.

We just heard this from a first-time patient:

"Going to this doctor is a pleasant experience! I liked the free parking and not having to get in an elevator and then sit in a crowded waiting room. Dr. Munoz saw me right at the time we'd scheduled. He personally called me back with my test results, which was really nice. And his whole office seemed like such a happy place! I'm glad I found out about him."

About Muñoz Family Health Clinic

Knowing that he wanted to be able to offer a level of care for each client, far above that seen in the typical clinic setting, Dr. Muñoz put a lot of thought into developing the concept of his practice. It would have to be easily accessible, provide a comfortable environment, be staffed by courteous professionals and deliver quality care unmatched by others. We invite you to come in and experience the difference.

Our office utilizes an Electronic Medical Record system. This allows us to have all your information at our fingertips, all the time. So when you call the office with a question, you can speak to a knowledgeable person who can help you with your needs. You don't have to wait for us to "pull your chart."

Not only can you call us, we can--and will--call you. We have established queries that allow us to identify when a person with hypertension, diabetes or other health needs has not come in for a scheduled check-up. We track referrals made to follow up and ensure you receive the care you need. If there are any barriers to care, we work diligently to remove them. Our goal is to Keep Austin Healthy!

When you see the doctor, he has quick access to your medication list, any tests ordered, and your previous medical history. This allows him to be a strong partner in helping you and your family stay healthy. We are in the process of implementing a Personal Health Record for our clients to keep with them. In case of any emergency or follow-up by another physician, you will quickly be able to provide a brief summary of all your medical information.
